GRANT HEALY

Chief Executive Officer

Veteran hospitality industry professional with over 30 years of hospitality real estate experience. Grant is able to leverage his deep experience in financing and operations of international hotels to provide a holistic view of assets operating under the Conduit House platform.

Grant was formerly Vice President, Finance for Hyatt Asia Pacific overseeing 85 hotels across 15 countries in the Asia Pacific region. During his tenure with Hyatt, Grant was involved in numerous hotel openings, major renovations and takeovers.

Chief Operating Officer

Achim joins Conduit House with over 35 years of experience in global operations in the luxury sector. Achim previously worked as Global Vice President, Operations at Rosewood Hotels and Resorts. In his role, Achim was initially based in Los Angeles, overseeing operations in the Americas and Europe. Subsequently, Achim was based in Hong Kong, overseeing operations for Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East.

Prior to Rosewood Hotel Group, Achim held senior positions with Starwood and Hyatt. In his days prior to corporate roles, Achim worked opening hotels in multiple countries including Sao Paulo, Beijing, Shanghai, Fukuoka, Manila, Pusan and Perth.

Born and raised in Germany, Achim received his culinary training and degree before launching his career in the hospitality world.

Supitchaya (Jing) Rakpanya

Chief Creative Officer

With a passion for innovation and contemporary design, Jing combines the skillset of an architect with real-world experience of real estate development. Jing oversees the design and brand development as well as strategic direction of the projects for Conduit House. As a trained architect, Jing has extensive experience in Thailand and is a member of several associations and investment boards and has a long family history in real estate and business development in Thailand. Jing is a graduate of London’s Architectural Association School of Architecture.

Dominic lau

Senior Vice President, Asset Management

Dominic is a hospitality expert with over 40 years of senior level industry experience in finance and asset management. Owner representative for assets including Mandarin Oriental Taipei and Ritz Carlton Shanghai. Seasoned director of finance for Hyatt, having held senior roles at hotels in Taipei, Tianjin and Macau.

 

ALEX LAM

Vice President, Hotel Operations

Alex is a veteran hotelier with over 30 years in the hospitality industry with comprehensive knowledge in Hotel Operations, Finance and Owner relations. Alex has deep experience across Asia Pacific in the planning, development, opening and ramp-up of more than 70 new hotels as well as major renovation projects. Alex holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Hawaii and a Master of Business Administration from Auckland University.

 

Mizue Takagi

Vice President, Asset Management, Japan

Mizue has extensive hotel general management and sales and marketing experience in Japan. Mizue started her career with Hilton Osaka and rose through the organization in various sales and marketing roles. Mizue went on to open the 500-room Hyatt Regency Osaka as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Mizue then took on the opportunity to launch a new division with JTB focussing on on-line distribution. Post JTB, Mizue joined Archon Hospitality, the hospitality arm of Goldman Sachs where she headed up Sales and Marketing for 7 years with the company. Mizue went on to hold an executive position with Agora Hospitality a hotel and property development company in Japan.

PIERRE-ANDRE PeLLETIER

Vice President, Asset Management

Pierre is a seasoned hotelier with 30 years of extensive experience in hotel operation and development. He started his career in hospitality back in 1989 and have since held numerous positions and was general manager of several hotels in Europe and Asia. Pierre was formerly Regional Vice President of Operations at ONYX Hospitality Group. This was a dual role combining GM responsibilities for Amari Hotel Phuket while undertaking regional leadership for South Thailand, Vietnam and the Maldives. He has proven track record for multi-destination experience across all market segments.

 

Dr Pakamon wongyai

Vice President, Asset Management

Dr. Pakamon is a veteran hotelier with over 35 years in the hospitality industry with comprehensive knowledge in Hotel Operations, Human Resource Management and Owner relations. Dr. Pakamon was General Manager at several large hotels in Pattaya, namely Brighton Grand Hotel, Health Land Resort & Spa and The Imperial Pattaya Hotel. During her tenure Dr. Pakamon also held the role of President of the Thai Hotels Association East Chapter during the period 2017-2020. During her earlier career, Dr. Pakamon held various senior management roles with Accor, Swissotel and InterContinental Group.

Taka Sekine

Director, Hotel Operations

Taka has extensive hotel and asset experience having worked at multiple properties with Hyatt, including Grand Hyatt Tokyo, Roppongi Hill Club, Grand Hyatt Shanghai, Hyatt Regency Osaka, Hyatt Regency Guam, Hyatt Regency Saipan and Hyatt Regency Okinawa. After Hyatt, Taka gained valuable real estate experience with one of the leading Japanese Real Estate Companies, Ken Corporation. Prior to joining Conduit House, Taka held was the General Manager of the acclaimed Zaborin in Hokkaido.

Elly Zhu

Director, Asset Management

Elly brings a dynamic and disciplined approach to the hospitality team. Elly is involved in all aspects of asset management, specializing in on-line distribution and digital marketing. Elly held previous roles with ArtCare in Beijing, Christie’s in Beijing, as well as operational exposure in a number of hotel establishments in London and Switzerland. Elly is a graduate from Glion Institute of Higher Education, Switzerland, with a Bachelor of Art in Hospitality Management with Events Management, and a Master level degree in luxury brand Management from Regent’s University in London.

Louie CHan, CFA

Director, Investments

Louie is a seasoned investment professional with a career across the Asia Pacific region. Most recently, Louie was a Vice President, Investments of Equis (now Vena Energy). Prior to Equis, Louie was at Macquarie Capital. Louie was a member of the Principal Transactions Group Asia which focused on deploying Macquarie Group’s balance sheet capital in real asset opportunities across Asia. Louie has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney, Australia and is a CFA charterholder.

 

Vincent Ong

Associate, Investment

Vincent is a real estate investment professional with a focus on the Asia Pacific region.

Previously, Vincent was with PGIM Real Estate in Singapore. In the portfolio management team, he assisted in investor reporting, fund raising and due diligence for transactions for a series of closed-end pan-Asian real estate funds. He also worked in Tokyo, Japan in the transactions team.

Vincent graduated from the London School of Economics and Political Science with First Class Honours in Mathematics and Economics.

Corporate Executive Chef

A 35-year international culinary icon and hospitality veteran who led the culinary operations of several high-profile Hyatt hotels, including as opening executive chef for Grand Hyatt Hong Kong and later, Grand Hyatt Tokyo. Expertise in openings, reviewing existing operations and culinary training.

 

ROBERT BATRICK

Vice President, Projects

Robert is a British national that has vast experience at all levels of project management – from minor hotel renovations to complete builds. Batrick brings more than 20 years of relevant experience in the construction industry. The past decade Robert has been involved in multiple large-scale restorations and renovations in Asia. Prior to leaving London he worked as contracts manager at Skansen Interiors, where he managed large-scale, commercial and government fit-outs and refurbishments in the UK. Batrick also holds an honors degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Westminster.

Gary Mortimer

MEP and Sustainability, Senior Advisor

Gary has more than 30-years experience specialising in all facets of designing, programming and commissioning computerised control and HVAC systems to monitor, control and eliminate energy wastage in large industrial and commercial complexes. On all projects Gary is providing workable solutions to optimal MEP systems, energy conservation and consistently attaining stated energy savings and payback periods.
